GEO Agent — Shopify app by 8BitConcepts

What data we collect

GEO Agent accesses your Shopify store data to provide AI visibility audits and benchmarking:

Product catalog data (titles, descriptions, images, metafields) via the Shopify Admin API
Store information (shop domain, plan, currency) required to scope the audit to your store
OAuth access token, used only to call the Shopify API on your behalf while the app is installed

How we use your data

To run AI visibility scans and benchmark your products against AI recommendation queries
To generate structured-metadata fixes (JSON-LD, llms.txt, UCP) specific to your catalog
We do not sell, share, or rent your store data to third parties
Benchmark queries are sent to AI providers (OpenRouter/Kimi) with product names only — no personal customer data

Data retention

Audit and benchmark results are retained while your app is installed. When you uninstall the app, we process the app/uninstalled webhook and delete shop-scoped app data, including stored sessions, audit results, benchmark results, product records, and generated fixes.

Store deletion requests

When Shopify sends a shop/redact webhook, we delete shop-scoped app data for that store. This uses the same deletion path as app uninstall handling.

Customer data requests

GEO Agent does not collect or store Shopify customer PII. If Shopify sends a customers/data_request or customers/redact webhook, we acknowledge it immediately — no customer data exists to return or delete.

Third-party services

OpenRouter / Kimi K2.6 — product visibility benchmark queries. Product names only.
Fly.io — application hosting (EU/US regions).

Refunds and billing questions

Shopify subscription billing is managed through Shopify Billing. Billing questions can be sent to hello@8bitconcepts.com with the shop domain and billing reference.
